Insights from #RegTechDay: Harnessing AI for Sustainable Reporting

This week, the Iceberg Data Lab team had the pleasure of attending the second #RegTechDay held in Paris by Finance Innovation, a key player in the digital and sustainable transformation of the French financial ecosystem.

It was great to see so many concrete partnerships between financial institutions and innovative start-ups, and particularly encouraging to see how AI is being utilised to improve efficiency in data collection and detect non conformity in financial institutions.

While there is a growing understanding of the environmental impacts of AI, there is conversely a growing recognition of the potential for AI to help companies measure and optimise their sustainability efforts.

At Iceberg Data Lab, our team is harnessing this potential, using AI to gather satellite mapping of sensitive areas for more precise identification of climate and biodiversity impacts along the supply chain to support improved regulatory reporting.
